Spice Trade Roasters is founded and operated by a passionate woman entrepreneur (that’s me!), committed to global culinary exploration and inclusive wellness. I am currently a one-woman show, wearing every hat from barista to brand builder. Once fully operational, I will hire more baristas, prioritizing women and BIPOC talent, to grow our impact and deliver on our promise of connection and excellence.
My journey to launch this business is rooted in a lifelong love for hospitality and culture. I spent years working as a server, bartender, and manager in the food and beverage industry, where I fell in love with the power of service—how a simple drink or warm interaction could brighten someone’s day. But my passion for flavor started even earlier, in the kitchen with my dad, who taught me how to cook and introduced me to the world of spices. Those early memories of blending ingredients and telling stories over the stove stayed with me.
Years later, while traveling through East Africa with my mother, I explored new foods and drinks that opened my heart even more to the richness of global tradition and I met my now husband, whose culture and warmth inspired me to dream bigger.
Spice Trade Roasters is the result of these experiences: a mobile cart that honors global traditions, fosters connection, and invites people to sip something meaningful.
